Mother Nature's Mood Swing

With yawns of moody dawn 'neath crimson skies,
upon the restless tide, she sheds her sighs.
Through windswept seaside grass, her breathy song
crescendoes as a stormy sea grows strong.

While currents, churning from deep down, collide,
she sheds her sighs upon the restless tide.
And in her madness, darkened clouds arise,
each crashing wave of troubled surf belies.

Behind her heavy curtains, Nature cries;
upon the restless tide, she sheds her sighs.
With flashing, silver tongue, a salty curse
is spit across the shore like angry verse.

In slivered rays of sun, the mood subsides.
She sheds her sighs upon the restless tide.
And with the freshly rippled sand she lies,
renewed, as misty currents now baptize.

(The Cloned-line form, developed by Kansaspoet, is four, four-lined stanzas in Iambic pentemeter with line two repeating in each stanza, although in stanzas two and four the repeated line is inverted. The rhyme scheme is aabb ccaa aadd ccaa.)
