SIN SHALL NOT REIGN OVER ME /1/

I see the inconsiderate person,
who never learned to be kind,
he awakens my passion,
tortures my mind.

Sin nature bristling,
conscience inflamed:
wrongs are never right,
my evil disdain!

Lingering vengeance,
tempestuous carnality: /2/
Give way to resistance!

Lord, cleanse my heart, my mind
and forgive them, for they know not what they do.
I shut-up my eyes and focus on You! /3/
