Book of Eros
A poem inspired by Kama Sutra

Book of Eros

In search of the Eastern Sun,
a path over dusty dunes
to find my elixir.
In tattered texts on Himalayan cliffs
beyond the Great Valley Rift:
A Book of Eros to gaze
at secrets past.

Kama Sutra in hand
palpitating inner eye, outer body
of carnal quest;
Surprisingly subtle the spiritual tongue
that licks my skin,
tenderly unfolds the lotus
of her naked beauty.

Words set like mirages
as she opens her erotic skies
for my winds of foreplay;
Wet and virgin, our mystery between.

An ordinary attraction exists
to begin with,
but little by little, it grows.

She glows like a cluster of poppies
intoxicatingly charmed
in nature's arousal.
The fluid stroke of my harp
is the lull of her lips.
The erupting of ideas set flow
over her burning thighs.

Then, after this gift,
very gently,
after a slight struggle
he takes her lips
of nectar love.
