Danny and Mallory's Time Line

There are links scattered through-out this timeline to the actual stories. Be forewarned...none of the stories are below 13+ and a great many of them are GC or XGC...you have been warned.


1975                              April 23--Patrick is born
                             August 13--Danny is born

1977                              May 12--Mallory is born

1991                              April--Mallory's mother succumbs to cancer after a long battle; Mallory and her father go to live with Patrick and his parents (Patrick's mother is Mallory's father's sister); Patrick gains a semi-unwanted sister
                             October 15--Danny watches his best friend get gunned down in a drive-by shooting; makes the decision that he has to "get out"

1993                              September--Danny begins taking college classes at a community college while working at a dinner during the day in his first step to getting out of Crown Heights; he takes anything he can think of that may help him become a cop
                             September--Patrick enrolls in a four year college; criminal justice program with his eye on entering the police academy upon graduation and becoming a cop like his father and uncle

1995                              June/September--Mallory graduates high school and enrolls in a four year college as a business major (Wagner); meets Emily

1996                              Spring--Danny and Patrick both enter the police academy as the Class of '97; they meet for the first time. Danny is kicked out of the house by his parents and has to scramble to find a place to live.

1999                              May--Mallory graduates from college; applies with Emily for a loan to open By Special Request

2001                              September--Attack on World Trade Center in NYC--Danny and Patrick both work the disaster. Mallory's father is killed while responding to an emergency there

2002                              Danny and Patrick both make detective third grade within a few months of each other and are reassigned to homicide. They reconnect with each other.

2003                              August--Patrick introduces Danny to his cousin, Mallory
                             November--Danny reads in the newspaper that his father has died of complications from drinking

2005                              May--Danny flirts with Mallory each time he sees her and begins asking her out, but she resists
                             November--Patrick and Danny are assigned to parade duty and stop into the store for a bathroon break; Mallory teases the boys, gets asked out by Danny (and refuses him). Danny meets Emily and Mallory explains why she won't date Danny
"The Beginning"  [13+]
                             December--Patrick gives Danny Mallory's phone number and he calls her just to chat
                                       Danny hears from his mother for the first time in nine years; talks to Mallory because he is upset about it. Mallory begins to see a new side to him and weakens towards him
                                       Danny has lunch with his mother
                                       Danny (at Mallory's request) asks her out one last time and she agrees to go to dinner with him; they go out to dinner a few days before Christmas
"First Date"  [ASR]

2006                              Begins to rebuild a relationship with his mother but it is rocky due to her wanting money from him and her not liking Mallory
                                       Begins to build a life with Mallory

2007                              September--Mallory asks Danny to attend a family party with her and he does; he realizes there how much she means to him and how serious he is about her

                             Danny and Mallory go to the Intrepid together while he's on call and Danny proposes
"A Question and the Answer"  [18+]

                             Danny is shot during a bust the next day

2008                              December--Mallory discovers that she's two months pregnant and the two fight
"Expectations"  [13+]
                             (on-going for the next seven months) Danny tries to repair their relationship but manages to put his foot in more; finally as Mallory begins to weaken he's sent out of town on a case (he returns after the baby is born)
2009                              July 30--Daniel Patrick Finnegan "D" is born
