Waiting In Pain
I wait for the one Who counts. When the sky darkened The lilies smiled. The tree tops swayed In the southerly breeze. The gray clouds restless Tossed about in rapids. The birds homebound Cried out pleasure winged, The name of the one, the only one For whom I wait in pain.
