A SILENT LETTER

I too can speak but I am
Imprisoned by silence.
That is how I could portray
An uninjured pretence.

Can I ever forget that
You betrayed me always?
Our relationship has been
Like a horrendous maze.

If I start blaming you then
My ink will all be gone.
Why waste it when to read it
You will never be prone?

Why then break my silence, when
To keep shut is better?
Silent I have always been,
Silence I won’t shatter.
