She begged for her life. She begged for her family's lives. It was only two hours ago that he snatched her, practically right in front of her home. She was walking a friend home from her own sweet sixteen party, everything went perfectly, everything was falling right into place. She had a new boyfriend named Sal who played quarterback for their high school football team the Hornets.

That was huge, her popularity soared to legend status, every girl wanted to be her, but not on this day. On this day she was a captive of a disturbed individual who stopped at nothing to terrorize her, her family, and her friends. He promised to keep her for a week, alive or dead he would tell her, but only for a week. Amongst the beatings and the rape, this gave her a glimmer of hope. It could all end tonight, tomorrow or the next day but there was a chance she thought, she could be found or find a way to escape.

Her parents will begin looking for her the moment she does not return from walking her friend home. The authorities would keep an eye out until things got more serious, after all, no one saw her get abducted. Why would a girl not return to her own party? Her parents would ask police. Well maybe she snuck away for an hour to be with her boyfriend they would rationalize after finding out that she actually had one. Only two problems would interfere with their theories; her grandparents were leaving and her mother told her to come right back so she can see them off, and the boyfriend, well it would be later in the evening before anyone would see him, and when they do, it will be hanging from a tree in his own backyard sliced up from head to toe.

He pulled across the street from a florist about two hours after he snatched her up, put her in his van and took away her purity, dignity and self respect. The monster beat her but was careful not to touch her face, she had a job to do now. He gave her some cash and ordered her to walk into the flower shop and pick out a floral arrangement for a funeral. He handed her a card that he already filled out that simply read: She will be missed. She asked him where it would be sent and he told her to give the clerk her address and to make sure
the floral lettering read 'Rest in peace Sarah Jennings.'

She started to scream and kick at his request, she would not do this. She would rather die now then be subjected to psychological torture. He told her if she did not do what she was told someone she loved would be killed, and if she didn't believe him he would prove to her now he wasn't lying. She steadfastly refused and he pulled a shoebox out from a small cabinet that was built into the side of the van. He forced her to look inside. She started to mumble and cry at the sight of it, nodding her head at the same time agreeing to his request as he opened the sliding door to the van. He stopped her before she stepped out and told her he had two more request. He did not want her to stop crying, and if the florist had a security camera inside he wanted her to look into it when it was safe to do so and mouth the words 'help me.' She stepped out and slammed door.

The monster looked at the bloody class ring on Sal Vesetti's severed finger in the shoebox, he knew she would recognize it as belonging to him, after all he loved that ring. He told her so up at that old oak tree just a night before when she stopped him from putting his hand up her skirt. That was her last memory of him with that ring, a subject changer when he tried to defile her. The monster knew this of course, he was not far away, perhaps a tree or two at best. Ten minutes had passed when he heard the knock on the side of the van. She hadn't run nor did he suspect she would. She had done what he had asked and then pleaded to be released which she new was in vain. He actually thanked her for being expedient before slapping her face in disgust for letting Sal get as far as her upper thigh before stopping him. He put the van in drive and pulled away, she demanded to know where he was taking her. He looked in his rearview mirror and told her to lay down and say a prayer, again she obliged. We are going to a cemetery, I have a surprise for you there... Sarah.
