A Poem from my 'sister of the soul' in response to mine dedicated to her.
She Cries Silently

Seen smiling,
Seen laughing,
Seen always
Supportive to others...
Yet, inwardly,
She cries silently.

Sought out for an answer,
Sought out for advice,
Sought out to do
Tasks left undone,
Yet, inwardly
She cries silently.

Outwardly tough,
Inwardly strong,
Constantly working
For Others,
Yet, inwardly
She cries silently.

Who sees?
Who hears?
Who takes the
Time to care?
Only her best friend-
Her sister of the soul.

Lisa A. Coy

This poem was written by my sister of the soul in response to my poem "Sisters of the Soul." In it she describes WHY we are such sisters of the soul. We are certainly two peas in a pod.
