Story Behind The Piece:

This piece was written after I had a dream with my out-of-state crush in it. This is the guy that told me he didn't want to have a long distance relationship, and who ended up leaving me in the dust, even as just a friend. I was torn by the fact that he let me go, and was no longer in my life, but I realized that I still had feelings for him, that I still loved him. So I battled between being happy and sad, and wondered when this battle would be over.
