THOUGH I LOVE YOU IN MY HEART
Though I love you in my heart, I can’t say so in words. To read my heart’s message you Must turn your gaze inwards. My eyes, my cheeks, my lips cause Certainly attraction. Let them not for your heart be A cause of distraction. Heed the language of the hearts. If they beat together, Never in the path of love Shall we face ill-weather. Though I love you in my heart, Is that true of you, too? I have yet to spot in you Signs of affection true. • Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format M C Gupta 11 June 2008
