Bloomless Flower

Trapped inside this tomb where resides my soul
Reeled in straight from the womb on baited pole.

Haunting visions making taunting noises -
Quick decisions incurred by thick voices.

Frightened by thoughts that were brightened by hopes;
Tangled in knots and then dangled from ropes.

Existence never ~ blooms never flower -
Lifeline severed, endeavored with power.

Attempted sounds tightly surround my cries
Life taken forthrightly ~ with strife it dies.
