Saved by an Angel
The dress hung in the closet for nearly forty years. A dim reminder of a forgotten night when she was young. She didn't know why she hadn't thrown it away. Suddenly the bedroom door burst opened and in came a small girl with red hair and green eyes. "Hello, Grandma." she said. "I'm going to be an angel in a school play." "Mom says I need a dress and a pair of wings." she said. "Well, maybe I can help you dear." Grandma replied. She cut and sewed all night and her granddaughter brought life to a long forgotten dress in a closet.
