Lament
A poem I wrote back in 2005, I don't really remember what it was about.

Broken dreams
lay in a shattered pool
all that's left
of what was a fool.

Haunting images
attack the brain
driving me mute
there's nothing to gain.

Damaged ideals
keep me bound
out of the sky
and on the ground.
