They know not what is about to strike,
They perform their daily chores alike, Each a San Franciscan, And all pretty innocent. Screaming shouting Like glass breaking. Running shaking Cars are crashing Six seconds it took for all to fear The Earth was rocking and all was queer. For houses were sinking And Bay Bridge collapsing Cars collided Citizens tied “Please. Help!” they cried, And then they died. Tremors shook the ground in waves of sound, Ripples of anger, homes underground. The media stood by Ostrich County on standby. Gas was leaking Fires were breaking Injuries creeping People weeping They knew not what was about to strike Instead they help mend their lives alike. All that cooperation, All for their nation.
