Pacing In Darkness

Pacing in the darkness,
Holds strong the sum of me.
Endless nothingness covers,
Grasping onto me unseen.

Surrender, plain past glory;
Those who stayed, weathered rounds.
Running this long dark path together,
Every day, muted minutes explosive sound.

Empty blackness now complete,
Of he, she, we, all of the town.
Its forever gripping non-story,
Casts blank all traveled ground.

Blinding painful courses certain;
Wrapped in my mindless rattled round.
Its trudging ground, surging endless.
Grace in time now surely found.

Success screams in me ranked mercy.
This mind's endless, agonizing rounds.
Un-aided, muted sorrowful whispers.
Frenzied witless, battle greedy hounds.

Trombones whale rumbling dark thunder.
Heartbeats fiercely entwined in weeping sound.
My lone voice echoes quiet pleas in wonder.
Light with me forever bound.

Aiding these oncoming,
Endless upcoming rounds.
