I jump into eternity, arms wide, embracing the tears
Rocketing towards the oblivion in my demise Knowing I have no place on the other side, I lose to the death filled fears Through the fear of complete nothingness my soul lets out hollow cries I walk among the shadowed faces, a vizard to hide my distress Each emotion pushed into apathy, a way for these feelings to suppress Hiding my true self in the shadows, I lie to the world Each nightmare starting with the angel of death's wings being unfurled The sin, the lust, for this world and life, take hold of me I try to chase after my dreams and love only to fear them dissipate with time Wishing to lose this mortality, for this shell to be free But with each fleeting breath, each moving shadow, I know death's hold is sublime So further down the road I race towards my dreams and the ones I love For in them I find immortality and a cure to my pain But the shadow of fear lurks close behind even as my soul looks to climb above For through this fear something celestial I shall gain
