Summer Memories Brilliant summer days, I sit and stare at the water So crisp, so clean, so inviting I slip off these worn old shoes Feel the dewy green grass ‘neath my feet I remember my childhood past Filled with laughter, play, running and dreams Those times long gone, but not forgotten And just a little bit closer on days like this
