Nature has friends like you
the gentle brook that flows where wild lilies grow, in the reeds supporting nests for the birds to hide away, while butterflies flap and fly to rest on sweet scent of jasmine on the ground, a gown of colored leaves from autumn trees. There squirrels play with acorns they found under oak trees; lawns bright and green a hedge of bougainvillea, supporting fragrant wisteria where poppies lie, drugged to their knees waiting for nurses, daises in white. Healing them with sage and time, in this natural transient effect of light and color, resting in peace. 30-Lines
