What was that feeling I lived?
In last night's dreaming... Phantoms of my loved ones made me choose – To act as they had scripted, or throw all caution afar To fulfill the warm aching in my chest. Such a powerful emotion, I've never felt in waking days That tingling, hot sensation – Small within me, yet overflowing my body. Was it love, when I clasped that faceless one to me? How is it I knew him in sleep? But I cannot recall now – A face, a smile, his way of standing. That pleading expression which drew my self Into the dream... Was it just that one night, when I saw him? Have we been meeting always, only to part and be forgotten So each time is new and unsure? Now, the feeling brought to life is deeply sleeping... All I can do is wonder, and hope that next night's dreaming Brings him back to my arms.
