My Dream

Today...ah...I haven't a clue. I used to be content with writing for myself. But the last few years it doesn't seem to be enough. I find I want to share what I write with others. Writing.Com has provided that opportunity.

For years I have dreamt of writing a series of children's books based on my childhood pony, Chip. I planned on illustrating with my own pen and ink drawings. But, nothing, not a thing have I written. Well, that isn't quiet true. I have started a few times, but get easily discouraged and throw it away. I mean, who am I kidding, I don't know how to write to children and I don't know how to get it published if I ever get it written.

Writing.Com has given me a creative outlet which has helped a lot. My desire to see my short stories in print has eased up some. I think seeing my work printed there for lots of people to read helps.

Right now, at this moment, I'm learning. Maybe someday I will follow my dreams, but for now practice, practice, practice.
