SPIKES IN HEART
Some people cannot accept That they do not matter. Their wild thoughts, through their vile words, They’re too keen to scatter. Whether someone is willing Or not to pay them heed, They’re convinced that their words are Full of wisdom indeed. How to deal with what they say? It’s best not to listen To their pearls of poison, though, Like dew drops they glisten. Choose your friends with caution since When adversity strikes, It is the erstwhile friends who In your heart poke their spikes. * Written in abcb 7-6-7-6 format. M C Gupta 22 June 2008
