LOVE, HATRED AND UNDERSTANDING
What type of a man is he, Whom silence a maid serves? If he can’t understand her, This he truly deserves. He wonders why lady love Is totally silent. If he improves his own ways, She would sure be vibrant. One is prone to overlook One’s own moat in the eye, But one has a tendency To others’ mistakes spy. Who shall educate the one Who says he is learned? Ways of love are different From the ways of hatred. We must learn to love others And understand their views. Castigating others is No way to make a truce. * Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format. M C Gupta 22 June 2008
