Nameless
The ache of longing is all that I'm allowed

Nameless

I call out to you every one of my waking moments-

(Nameless though you are)

Whisperless silences answer me.
My eyes ache to glimpse you-

(Faceless though you are)

The darkness of eternity are all that they behold.
My ears strain to hear of you-

(Voiceless though you are)

The cacophony of absence is all that greets them.
I cannot name you, I know not your face.
Softer than a wraith is your voice, forever absent is your presence.
The pain of longing is all that I have of you-
All that I’m allowed to have.
