(This is a sample chapter of the book that will come out soon!)
Chapter One THE RED DRAGON Rocks crunched beneath the knight’s feet as he crashed his way through the valley of the Berlin Mountains. Sweat slithered down his cheeks like a lonesome garden snake. He ached of purple and brown bruises and gushing cuts slashed into his skin. The knight wished eagerly that he were somewhere else in the land of Rhowmine as he tripped over a small boulder on the ground, sending his sword soaring through the air and landing on a harmless pink flower. However, he knew that there was no passageway leading to an escape from this nightmare. He had to keep moving quickly or he would be another lost soul captured by the horrifying creature. A petrifying, ear-piercing roar screeched behind him as he grasped his sword off the ground. The pebbles trembled beside him as monstrous footsteps crashed into the ground. He quickly gazed around at his surroundings to see if he could find shelter where the monster would not be able to attack him. Unfortunately, nothing would guard him from the devilish creature. Taking a brave, deep breath, he spun around on one foot and clasped his sword loftily as he stared into the rampaging creature’s eyes. Fire voyaged from its nostrils and mouth as it came to a complete stop and stood on its two hind legs. “I shall serve my King Tougera with respect, Red Dragon!” As the knight spoke those few words, his vision turned to blankness and a short lasting pain spread throughout his body.
