some thoughts on social/people problems

There are times in life when no matter what we do we feel like we cannot avoid failure. The only real problem with these moments of helpless realization is that we refuse to accept them as realizations. We try to convince ourselves that there is still some remote possibility that what we want to be true is true. The harsh reality is that we have only the slightest bit of say in what happens in our lives. What we do always have a choice in is the way we react to all of life’s inevitables. We can either rebel against the path laid out before us by design or we can embrace it and live at peace. Just as there is an ultimate devine force that directs the flow of events in our lives there  is also a loving God in which we find peace through the sacrifices of His Son. The same God that puts us in these seemingly hopeless situations is there to guide us through the times of trouble; He does not just leave us all to flounder about on our own helplessly. I know that for many this might be such a time. The sad thing is that many of us will simply retreat behind our defenses and try to lick our wounds clean and heal ourselves and forget the most important thing we are put in these positions for a reason because God, despite much human doubt, does know what He is doing. So, what I mean is that we should give up trying to hide ourselves away from the difficulties in life and try to figure out why we are here and now. If God is an insurmountable strategist, which of course He is, then what use is it for us to trudge along trying to out think life’s problems or trying to muscle through them when we have easy free access to the one being who will always have the answer. Many of us refuse to believe simply because we do not much like the answers we are given. This is human arrogance, we want to be advised to do things that are already on our agendas, but God could care less about our foolish flawed agendas because He knows what is to come and knows where we should be. We all need to learn true humility and to accept the unfavorable circumstances in life just as readily as we accept the many blessings because we will come through as we should as long as we trust in God. God brings so much more to the table for us than we ever could for ourselves. He brings a real relationship, joy, peace, and a purpose. All we can bring separate from God is confusion, depression, and unrighteousness in its entireity.
