Mind's Love
Depictions of romance, through my eyes.

My body will curve to fit
Against yours,
Filling your hollow frame,
Blending into the perfect shape,
Too molded to resist.

In love—
Free-falling into your eyes,
Losing my step across your skin;
Endless miles.
The waves of your hair
Rolling in to take me away,
But I’m not swimming against your current.

In my mind—
Your mouth swells
Preparing to devour me whole,
Your fingertips prowl
Leaving traces,
Warm reflections.

On my back,
A cushion of grass beneath me.
You fill the wind that weaves
Its way through my being.
You lie next to me,
I am at peace.
