The way love appeared.

Translucent

I saw him through
the window glass;
a visage thorough
features clear cut
a face well etched.

The dark room behind
only his charm enhanced.
On the generous mouth spread
a smile that wrapped
me up and the whole world.

Lotus eyes full
of love soulful.
His shoulder
a safe harbor.
Limbs familiar
rhythmic, easy,
eye-catching.

His every word
I hang on, charmed.
The tone
differently divine.
Qualms I have none
to surrender.
There’s none,

none ever
so tender.
