The Boy With The Sight

Rated: E | Draft | Emotional | #1448304
Preview of first chap. Drafty thing.
I felt my muscles relaxing, and looked forward to a night of sleep after a long, tiring day. However, it was not to be, as I started dreaming almost as soon as I fell asleep. It wasn’t like a normal dream, though. It was more like ideas, thoughts, feelings, emotions, and senses simply bombarding me, giving me a vague, half-formed image…

~

A girl. Struggling. Mountain path. Hot, half-breaths. Tired. Struggling. Tears, not quite. Desperate. Whispers, half-words. Stumble. Struggling on. Onwards. Upwards. Higher. Don’t stop. Need rest. Need release. Need breath. Help. Help. Struggling. … Stumble, fall. Resting. Breathing. Crying. Crying out.

~

I woke, sweating, with a cry echoing in my head.

"Nat!"

Well, it wasn’t a cry; barely a whisper, but it was as loud as hell in my mind.
