unsaid
often we leave our thoughts unexpressed

Unsaid

the things we say cannot be helped
but by the mind it’s barriers are true
though sometimes slackened in the guard
when the confusion sways the sword

what is said cannot be held back
once it is freed it cannot be caught
everything is floating and yearning for air
and on occasion it is wise to release them

ward of our minds craves the taste of freedom
though freedom would imprison us all
and to take with us our secrets would doom all others
to give them out would mean chaos

for better or worse we cannot say
split decisions are made in the moment
deliberation is a constant need
but haste is a waste of mind

our nature defines to be of impatience
therefore predestination is caught
no way out and no way in
here is what is left unsaid
