Ole Man Smyrl,
His back to the wall,
In the rear of the room,
A gambler was he.

Who watched us all,
No chance would he take,
With an ace in his boot,
And a gun by his side.

Boot Hill holds many a soul,
Ole Man Smyrl did in,
'Cause he didn't abide cheatin',
'Specially on him.

Both hands best be in sight,
When poker's the game,
The anti is high, and
Ole Man Smyrl's givin' you the eye.
