No longer do I wake with cries and screams. My wishes all come true - within my dreams. You love me so and I’m your loving spouse. It's still our home and not an empty house. I’m not alone, it’s always just us two. Within my dreams my wishes all come true. No longer do we have to be apart. I can no longer bear this broken Heart. Reality is never as it seems. My wishes all come true - within my dreams. For you’re still here to kiss away my tears. You hold me as you chase away my fears. You smile when I say I’m in love with you. Within my dreams, my wishes all come true. The Lord has taken you from me too soon. He’s left me here alone - in this cocoon. Cloned-line poetry is a new form of poetry created by Larry Powers larryp It is written in Pentameter, with repetends, inverted repetends, and the option of being iambic. It requires four couplet rhymes. Repetend is a repeating word, phrase, or line. Inverted Repetend inverts the repeated line or phrase. Pentameter is a line of verse containing five metrical feet (ten syllables) An example of couplet rhyme is A,A,B,B This cloned-line poem is close to iambic, but I’m not sure. {unstressed/stressed)
