Within My Dreams

No longer do I wake with cries and screams.
My wishes all come true - within my dreams.
You love me so and I’m your loving spouse.
It's still our home and not an empty house.

I’m not alone, it’s always just us two.
Within my dreams my wishes all come true.
No longer do we have to be apart.
I can no longer bear this broken Heart.

Reality is never as it seems.
My wishes all come true - within my dreams.
For you’re still here to kiss away my tears.
You hold me as you chase away my fears.

You smile when I say I’m in love with you.
Within my dreams, my wishes all come true.
The Lord has taken you from me too soon.
He’s left me here alone - in this cocoon.
