Colors bleed from the sky,
trickling from once vibrant bands of crimson and emerald and gold, only form into murky pools of unrecognizable matter, much like a Dali painting. Hiding from the ill winds, a poet dissolves onto a sheet of paper, his mind's once radiant hues now twisting and swirling to a thick shade of ink that has collected upon the page. The words come alive before him, taking on a life of their own, only to swallow him up in their new-found hunger. Another soul devoured, beneath crippled rainbows.
