TREASURE (Chapter 3) The sandy shore is far behind As Fin and Angel make their way, Into the woods so dense to find A place for them to spend their days. And as they wander through the trees Under the sun that lights their way, They find themselves in state of bliss, Which stays within them through the day. They find exotic wild life soaring Before their eyes all glowing bright. The rising palm trees never falling, They dance in rhythm with the tide. And as they walk they're serenaded, There by the birds that chirp away. Their hearts and souls are elated, On this refreshing sunny day. There nearby the stream is breaking Against the rocks both big and small. So Fin and Angel now are taking The path to find the waterfall. They follow now the water's calling, Its mighty force that echoes round. The mist around them is falling, The drops of heaven, them surround. At last their eyes, they come upon The waterfall, a sight of beauty. Cascading drops lit by the sun, Beneath a rainbow oh so fruity. The water beckons them to enter And leave their garments on the grass. They gladly do, and slowly enter, Soothed by the water as they pass. The water cool against their skin, It brings them goose bumps, makes them shiver, So they embrace and dive right in, Their bodies' warmth, the touch delivers. They near the falls and stand below it, The water trickling down their skin. Their bodies interlaced are glowing, And hungry lips are locked within. They stand there savoring the moment, Lost in the love that's pouring through. The time around them is dormant, Birds' song refreshing like the dew... Written August 18, 2008... To be continued...
