I’m 5000 miles away from my birth
And the sun is falling below the mountains shush shush shushing slowly hush
And the grime in my mind cant be purged
Until darkness blots out my perception of who where what and why
And 5000 years before my birth
I was happy under the sheets the white white sheets of my body
And I was high and getting high on high high up in those same mountains
Of who what when where and why
I came to the top and I came again and I gazed up at the heavenly host
Of stars 5000 light years above me
And I was starved for stardust
And I craved the crazed sensation of rolling my skin and donning it to fly, trailing the dust behind me
And I came to the dust of the earth and I listened
My ear to the ground, my throat to the cry
And 5000 feet down I felt myself die
