Western Slopes
Grapes that grow on eastern slopes have futures hard to tell. Grapes that grow on western slopes make wines that do quite well. As the vintage wines ferment and summer's gone away, will they be the sacrament to bless a brighter day? When two friends have raised a toast to all the years gone by, times remembered by them both will tear the driest eye. Many friendships drift apart and many more will end. Those forged from the truest heart, let no one then contend. All new friendships full of hope are borne in every heart like the grapes on western slopes; they need a better start. ![]()
