The Nile Valley Rally
A comical look at rallies.

                                      The Nile Valley Rally
It was in the Nile Valley, that they held a motor rally,
To see whose car could cross those dreaded dunes,
Now the Transylvanians took off first in a spooky old black hearse,
But were never seen again for seven moons.

Now the Yanks they took of second, in a jalopy that they reckoned,
Could get them there and back with time to spare,
But the car just wouldn't start and completely fell apart,
Which saw the driver pulling out his hair.

Well the British took off third in a car they called "Blue Bird."
A better car, much faster than the rest.
But the drivers speed too high, sent him hurtling through the sky.
And he failed to complete that Valley Rally test.

Now there's a moral to this story, of motor rally glory,
And the quest to win that Rally down the Nile.
Drivers really oughta realise it's full of water,
And they really should learn to drive a crocodile.
