One AT A Time

How many of us walk through this life not really having a certain destination in mind? We just wander up and down, no cares no worries except maybe how we can come up with extra money to spend on what we want. We don't stop to really look at the other people we see for fear they might need help or ask us for help. Why would we share?

Then there are the ones who go out of their way to show by their actions that they want to help others. They have no fear of being taken, they give gladly with no conditions attached to what they give. These are the fortunate few that make this world a caring place to be. A place where others reach out to help others in need.

Here on Writing .Com I have saw both types of people. I only hope I fit in with the second group no matter if I get taken in the long run or not. I still when I leave this world want others to know that I gave from the heart. I think that is why I give out upgrades, have contests and bid at auctions. I need to know that I might just be helping one writer at a time to better theirselves. If I can do that I will know I did allright!
