The pouts and joys of our seemingly endless
And cherished romance –
Two lovers caring so deeply
For each other’s hardships,
Coming together as a couple
For much love and celebration.
Many hellos and intimate, rosy chit-chat;
Two who long to be as one,
Soaring high above the clouds
Of daily miscues and intermittent discord.
The stars, guiding our evening passage
Amid dark, moonlit skies and cool, wispy air;
Our purpose to spend the night holding hands,
Reaching for the brightest glow or the newest discovery.
We have found this wondrous place,
Yet again –
A place of shining lights and new discovery –
In each other’s wholesome, tender embrace.
The sun, rising magnificently in the east,
Bringing a glorious new day
Of further fun and frolicking…
