Many of us are buried alive
When ignored by family and friends
Like the seniors in the nursing homes
where they barely survive.

The declining health with age
makes them invalid and helpless
don’t wish to live, counting days
can end their lives or the usage.

It’s hard to live buried life
when once it’s bouncy and energetic,
the cherished moments so photogenic
that the loss just to memorize.

Unhappiness

Let us find perfect words to write
whichever would make you happy
and calm, that clears air black and white.

Don’t argue in that angry tone
which frightens me and lets me cry
don’t also leave me all alone,
simmer down now, won’t you please try ?

I don’t see real reason to fight
why do we expect so much high?
Isn’t it what we have should be right?

We sure bring our own miseries
with expectations built so high;
the life stumbles with injuries
can beat them with His help near by.

A cheater’s heart is full of lies
It has no scruples, no real ties
Whatever pleases, it follows
Even when relation wallows;
It’s blindfolded by own desires
Hurting others with no cares
The lies become mere reality
and fulfilling them loses humility!

Life is a God’s gift
Why do we desecrate it?
Instead appreciate.

If we learn to praise
Our innate powers we have
The truth in our heart

When abundant wealth.
prosperity and health
sowed in each thought

Through the subconscious
--the creative Power within-
will kindly grant us.

Teach me to whisper-

In this noisy world,
Loud voices, shrill words
no one hears or cares!

All the questions, lost in chaos,
Who am I? Where do I come from?
Where am I going, what to live for?

Let me listen
The answers in the whispers,
Teach me to whisper,
Like a butterfly,
Flying from flower to flower,
Whispering, “The spring is here
Blooming hopes, bursting colors!”

Teach me to whisper
To quiet the shrills,
Teach me to listen,
To the unspoken words

All the answers, in whispers
To get the answers
I should learn to whisper.

Under a lock and key
the vault for valuables,
things precious to me
stored after show and tell.

It’ll save it from a thief
But stay away from me,
Had to make a list in brief
to avoid the future grief.

Otherwise nothing is kept
Under a lock and key
Life moves in such a swift
each moment about to flee.

Emotions that locked in deep,
Spill over with unknown key
Stop on a flow hard to keep
Not with any lock or any key.

I am tired of the tune I dance to
Adorn in prestige and pride,
Moving confidently,
Following the routine living protocol:
Waltz, rockn'roll, tango or cha-cha
Whatever tunes command?

Feeling dizzy by spinning around,
Doing that same old dance,
Unaware about my own interests,
Blind towards the needs of others.

Still stepping in and out with the beat,
Days after days go on;
While losing track of time,
Also dropping a sense of balance.
People busy running their life,
Neither turn, nor notice.

All alone, stressed up,
Wanted out of the mundane rut
But did not know how,
still dancing one step here,
and another one there.

Midnight’s kiss spreads the darkness around
the universe with the moonlit sky stars abound.
The dark of the devil’s act remains asleep
until the dawn sheds the light around deep.
Remember, there is always light after the dark
the truth is revealed at a turn of an eternal arc.
Midnight’s kiss – a reminder of a changing world
nothing static like the truth, neither new nor old.

It is in the mind-
The divine dedication
which helps to achieve-

The life lived with
the dignity measured
as a better life.

With the harmony
to the inner powerhouse
truth is realized.

Inside looking out through the glass
Nature painted landscape with a class.
The blue sky, clear water, green hills
Just the soothing sight would cure ills.

The picture changes with the seasons
Windy, rainy, frosty, stormy reasons
Would bring the misty mood in sight
One may overlook and try to be bright.

But it’s there, nature’s display in frame
of a window, vivid but never the same.
As a reminder of ever-changing earth
to keep mind focus on what’s it worth.

The four seasons, appear for reasons,
The eternal plan that nature's best--
After winter gloom, spring in bloom
Summer heat, autumn harvest.

The endurance, cycled with patience
A great message of a hope
sent by the nature, only way to nurture
a daring response to cope.

Each day is new, carries a fresh view
showing a silver line of joy
after the rain, washes out the pain,
arch of the rainbow to enjoy

A world torn apart in front of our eyes,
we couldn't stop the panic or cries.
It inflamed the hearts, amplified pain,
triggered the war for nothing to gain.

Condition seems at a point of no return;
need to reform for the peace to earn,
with the monumental task waits ahead,
many people are starving for bread.

It's only feasible for him to mend,
His mercy would get chaos to end.
Let's pray for his kindness, all of us
with honest devotion until he affirms!

A wounded Heart

A heart gets wounded in love and war-
either in a mind or out in the world.
Because it marked with expectations,
otherwise it could be a win-situation.

A wounded heart painful to endure
kindness or care may tender a cure.
A wounded heart can heal on its own
with innate positive energy source on
by mindful thinking to reach within-

1 large green bell pepper
1 large red bell pepper
4 tablespoon(s) extra-virgin olive oil
3/4 teaspoon(s) dried thyme
3/4 teaspoon(s) oregano leaves
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
3 medium (1 pound each) eggplants, cut lengthwise into 1/3-inch-thick slices
1 medium onion, chopped
5 clove(s) garlic, chopped, divided
5 cup(s) (about 36 ounces) store-bought marinara sauce
16 ounce(s) skim ricotta
1 1/3 ounce(s) grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
1/4 cup(s) chopped fresh parsley leaves
8 ounce(s) part-skim mozzarella, shredded

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Directions
1.Heat broiler. Roast peppers on a baking sheet, turning occasionally, until blackened, 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 10 minutes to steam and loosen skin. Scrape blackened skin from peppers, then seed. Slice into 2-by-1/4-inch strips and set aside.
2.Meanwhile, reduce oven heat to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons olive oil with thyme, oregano, and 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper. Brush both sides of eggplant slices with oil mixture and place in single layers on 3 baking sheets. Bake, in batches if necessary, until lightly browned and cooked through, 20 to 25 minutes per batch.
3.In a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook onion and 4 garlic cloves with remaining oil until golden, about 8 minutes. Add marinara sauce, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 20 minutes.
4.Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix together ricotta, Parmigiano-Reggiano, remaining garlic, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Spread about 1 1/4 cups marinara sauce in the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch baking dish before assembling 3 layers. For first layer: Place one-third of eggplant slices over sauce. Dollop one-third of ricotta mixture over eggplant, then sprinkle on one-third of mozzarella. Drizzle with 1-1/4 cups sauce and add half the peppers. Repeat the same process, layering on eggplant, ricotta, mozzarella, sauce, and peppers. For third layer: Add remaining eggplant, ricotta, marinara sauce, and mozzarella. Bake lasagna until sauce is bubbling and mozzarella is melted and beginning to brown, 40
