“I’M SORRY”
When people say “I’m sorry”, What, in fact, do they mean? Depends on if they so feel Or speak like a machine. Uttered in pure honesty, These words can do wonders. They can wipe unfaithfulness And cover up blunders. Coming from the heart, these words Have the effect of balm. On an angry person they Can bestow real calm. When the person spoken to Knows these are just a sham, To the words and their owner, He does not give a damn. • Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format M C Gupta 21 July 2008
