I had a bad day;
you noticed right away. The sun still shone, but the sparkle had flown. I tried my best to hide it. Things I didn't want to admit. You know me too well. I didn't have to tell. Somehow, you guessed all. My eyes are your tell all. You just held me tight, whispered, "It'll be alright." There was no inquiry. You knew I was weary always answering questions, coming up with solutions. Your advise, I always heed. You know just what I need. You know just how to console because you can read my soul. For that, and more, I love you and promise always to be true.
