My day started at about three o'clock in the morning.
I had gotten up to go to the bathroom. I don't know how long I sat there, but when I woke up both of my legs were numb. I couldn't feel anything in either leg. I couldn't move, I was trapped on the toilet. After a few minutes, I managed to get myself to a standing position. In my mind, I felt like I could walk but when I tried to, my legs didn't move. I started falling forward. I threw my hands out to keep from hitting the tub directly in front of me. My right leg flew back as I fell and hit the side of the toilet. I lay there on the floor until I could roll over and crawl back to bed. When I woke up later, my foot was a little tender but I could walk so I didn't really think much about it. We decided to go to town and when I tried to put my shoes on I wanted to cry. It felt like someone was sticking a knife in my foot. I had to end up wearing bedroom shoes then and for the next three days because of the pain in my foot. This isn't the first time that I have fallen asleep on the toilet. It happens quite a bit. I guess I need some type of alarm system that will go off if I sit there too long. Word Count: 248
