I don't know who you are
I don't know if you're near me or far I don't know what made you think to help me out You gave me a chance to pour my heart out and shout You knew how much writing meant to me It’s as if you could see Even though I don't know your name I feel we're the same I know nothing about you except that you're now my friend And if you ever need me I’ll be there, a pen to lend All I can say to you is thank you There are very few Who would care, for someone they didn't knew So from the bottom of my heart, here’s to you: When I felt weak and things were wrong You knew and helped me to be strong You gave me the strength to carry on When I thought I had no chance left You gave me such a gift, Those made my spirits lift Now every time I have a pen in my hand I think of the secret friend I have on this land And whenever I write, in my mind it’s you who I praise Who gave me a chance to let my words race Let’s stop playing the "bringing a smile on each other’s face “game Please, can I just know your name?
