FIGHT OF LOVE
When a boy and a girl meet, As they freely dance in street, What thoughts they have uppermost? Of their youth both of them boast. Am I match for him or her? Shall I conquer the other? What a fight of love it is! What flight of emotions this! They have different weapons. And, often, it so happens: The one that’s tender and tame, Is the winner in the game. • Written in aa, 7-7 format. • Initially written as entry 419605 in the book LOVE POEMS, "LOVE POEMS" M C Gupta 15 April 2006
