WHAT'S A POEM?

What’s a poem and what it
Does represent in fact?
Whatever it says it must
Do so with knack and tact.

For some people writing urge
Is just too important.
But when writing poetry
Flow too is relevant.

Those who swear by the urge say
That nothing else matters.
They pour out their thoughts in a
Mere jumble of letters.

Arrange words and syllables
So that they smoothly chime.
If possible, also do
Include a bit of rhyme.
