IF YOU COULD SEE THE REAL ME I wonder if you would recognize the woman behind the poetry. A lifetime kalidescope of smiles, laughter, tears and poverty have blended to create this woman who forgot how to dream, who tries to gain a bit of happiness by creating a new theme. If you could see the real me, you would know there is love of friends and family, of a world filled with rainbows above. If you could see the real me, you might be quite surprised for I am just a plain and simple person that God devised. I never wanted riches and that is truly a good thing. Life has been a struggle, I once wore a wedding ring and thought that marriage was forever, love was true - Life happened along the way, you found someone new. The real me cries inside. The real me struggles to find hope. The real me gets discouraged. The real me hides all that as best I can. It is better that not everyone can see - the real me. Countrymom 8/1/08 .
