Caught on the lake covered in fog,
can’t make out the shore anymore. Darkness creeping, water seeping, I’m getting that sinking feeling. It seems that I am all alone, chilled to the bone and losing hope. I hear the sound of pounding waves I fear hitting the rocky reef. No relief within sight or sound, and the night is not far away. Faith lies in the lady of light, my safe harbor, darkness at bay. Labor of love, shining above, bringing the lost home at all cost. Brilliant beam bringing my boat back, clearing the haze through deadly maze. “Where would I be…but lost at sea, without the guiding light, Stacy." Illuminated miles with Stiles, bringing me to safety and smiles.
