Found in an old pile of papers, I don't remember writing it, or for whom I wrote it.

You were the one
who was there for me
You were the one
who helped me thru the pain
Whenever I needed you
you were there
I owe you so much
I could never repay

You helped me thru the rough times
You helped me thru the bad
You helped me when I couldn't help myself
I know now I need you
I'll always need you
You'll never know how much I depend on your

Voice, so calm, so tranquil
I need to hear you whenever I can
It's like a lifeline thrown into dark waters
You'll never know how much I depend on you

You helped me -

Eyes, so deep, so thoughtful
I need to see them
whenever I can
When I look into them
my troubles dissappear
And you'll never know how much I depend on you.
