A sprinter races in Beijing for 55 word Competition

She had worked her entire life for this moment.

Memories of junior events and high school competitions flashed through her mind. Sacrifices and tireless effort from herself and her family had resulted in Beijing.

The time was now. The future was measured in seconds.

“Bang!”

She explodes from the blocks.

As one, the crowd roars.
