Patriots of..... 9-11


On that bright and sunshiny early morn,
is when the tragedy of air attack had begun,
I saw the planes crash into the Twin Towers,
as I was watching it on T.V. after my shower.
I couldn't believe what I had just seen....
who hated America? Who was this mean?


I remember thinking, Oh My GOD! What is this?
I cried heavily, all those people will be sorely missed.
Family, friends and strangers helping at the site...
with so many police and firefighters we do fight,
trying helplessly to find and save even just one life,
among the ash and dabree, sadness and much strife.


So many people lost their lives that horrible day,
of this senseless killing, we felt more than dismay,
We pulled together as a family, a United Nation,
with tear filled eyes, loving our country, no hesitation,
So many firefighters fought and sadly their lives lost...
not thinking twice for themselves or of the cost.

This is for everyone whom gave their lives that day...
to help save others, and our freedom come what may,
everyone banded together, we showed how we are strong,
ready to fight anyone in our country who did us wrong,
I want to Thank the Lost souls and survivors of this 9-11,
believe me when I say, your greatness has been seen in Heaven.

As just "one" American, Thank you for my safety and my life,
of this I will never forget, I will never turn a blind eye,
You and this day will forever remain in my heart and mind,
I am telling everyone to remember all of those who sadly died,
praying for the families who survived, who also did fight,
We ALL remember your loss and your grieving plight,
Praying for all that were lost, may you rest at God's side.
